Installation, configuration and tuning of SQL Server
Creation & configuration of databases
Creation & management of SQL roles and users
Setting up of SQL Maintenance tasks such as scheduled backup
Server monitoring includes making sure that:
SQL backups are running correctly
Databases have enough disk space allocated
Event Logs are monitored to watch for potential hacking and other issues
CPU and Memory usage is monitored with relation to SQL use
SQL log files are checked for size and automatic truncation
Jobs running under SQL agent are executing correctly
Profiling SQL queries, when necessary, to determine query performance
SQL server management costs £100 per month and is available in addition to our
Server Management Gold and Silver packages.
SQL server management is for a typical server and we reserve the right to amend our charges if the server requires additional SQL support.
